History of Kendall

1916-37 E.C. Simmons Co. was the First Ford dealer.

1937-63 Merrill Kendall started Kendall Motor Co.

1963 Walter de Martini bought and created Kendall Ford, Inc.

1990 Kendall Honda is acquired.

1992 Kendall Lexus is built.

1993 Kendall Acura is acquired.  Kendall Auto Credit is created.

1997 Holloman Ford is acquired in Cottage Grove.

1998 Holloman Ford becomes Kendall Auto Center in October.

2000 New Kendall Auto Center of Cottage Grove building is built.

2002 Romania dealerships are acquired: Chevrolet, Subaru, Toyota, and Hyundai.

2004 Auto Mall opens with new Chevy and Honda stores. Lewiston store is purchased.

2005 Dunham is acquired.

2006 Kendall Auto Center of Bend opened in August. Ford was remodeled in October.

2007 Breaking ground for new Toyota store, topping out at 55-57,000 square feet.

2008 Nye Family Dealerships acquired.  Kendall Auto Alaska is created
